A Weekend in Disneyland
Time to theoretically dust off this blog and start writing again. I've thought a lot about starting to create content online again after basically disappearing for two years and I thought the easiest way to ease myself back into it would be to share a few photos of a trip I took a little over a month ago with two of my best friends. We had been planning a trip for awhile and finally made the decision to go to Disneyland! Our trip definitely could have used a little more planning and time management but we made it work and throughout the ups and downs we made the best of it and had a great time regardless.
We all live in Arizona and instead of flying we decided we wouldn't mind taking a little road trip and driving the 5 hour drive from Phoenix to Anaheim. We had rented out an Airbnb that was about 5 minutes away from Disney and were super excited to get there. The drive was pretty easy, I was exhausted because I hadn't slept the night before but I surprisingly didn't get super sleepy until we got to Cali.
When we arrived we had some time to kill before our Airbnb was available so we decided to drive down to Huntington Beach to see the ocean and explore. I unfortunately didn't take hardly any pictures there, I was exhausted and it was a super overcast day. I would have loved to wade in the water or lay on the beach but I had forgotten to bring towels or sandals so we just walked around for a bit and grabbed lunch at a local Mexican restaurant right by the ocean.
We were excited to get to our Airbnb after the long drive but once we arrived it was...not what we were expecting. We actually ended up leaving and getting a hotel room closer to Disney, we had some trouble because most of them were already booked but we finally found a place to stay and sleep for the night.
We decided that our first day was going to be spent in California Adventures! We didn't get the Park Hopper tickets so we just spent a whole day in each park. The last time had been was when it was Paradise Pier, so I was pretty excited to see how Pixar Pier had come along. I actually liked it a lot more than I was expecting to!
My favorite ride is hands down, The Incredicoaster. It's exactly the same as it was when it was California Screamin', just with a touch of the Incredibles. When I visited Disney the first time it took almost an hour of constant convincing for me to even get on that ride. But now I could have honestly rode it all day which is really saying something considering I usually get super nervous and hate roller coasters. (I usually refuse to ride any ride that goes upside down, roller coasters for me are usually a hard pass.)
Of course we had to hit up Cars Land once the sun set, I just really love how it looks at night with all the neon lights. I have so many pictures that look nearly the same as the two above from the first time I went to Disney. But I can't walk through Cars Land without snapping a few new ones.
Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I think California Adventures looks the prettiest at night, even prettier than Disneyland. I just love all the lights and the iconic ferris wheel (which by the way I rode for the first time and it was the only ride in the whole park that made me feel nauseous).
Of course we had to make sure we rode Space Mountain as many times as we could! It was actually the very first ride we went on when we got into the park. When I went in 2015 it was Hyperspace Mountain, so it was cool to see how it is regularly.
(Fun fact: I actually got stuck on this ride the very first time I rode it, now even though I love this ride, I get nervous every time I get on it that it's going to get stuck again.
We made reservations at Cafe New Orleans just so we could get the Monte Christo. It was good but soo filling we split it between two of use but could have easily split it between three. It's a ham and cheese sandwich that's deepfried and sprinkled with powdered sugar that you dip in jam. I'm not a huge sweets person and usually lean towards savory but it was still really good and a nice balance between the two.
This was the entrance to Club 33. It's an elite restaurant that you have to be a member of to even get into. I guess there's a huge waiting list and it's super expensive to get into, but hey a girl can dream, right?
Our short trip to Disney was so much fun, even though we had some things go wrong, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I had so much fun with my friends and I'm so happy we planned this trip. Hopefully our next one will be less short notice (and a few more days long) but I think we made the best of it.
It feels so weird and exciting to be posting again? I really hope that I have gotten my motivation back and can start writing more and taking more photos. I hope to keep this blog more consistent and update it again soon.

Lately...
So many things have happened since I stopped updating this blog. I seriously wish I could catch you all up on everything but that would honestly take forever, I wouldn't even know where to start. So I guess I'll just give you a little rundown on some things that have happened in the past few months.
1. Summer has been rough. I seem to always forget how hot and miserable Arizona summers can be, I'm so happy that we are reaching the end and hopefully it'll start cooling down very soon!
2. I spent a weekend in Disneyland at the end of July and I'll be posting all about it in my next blog post.
3. I broke my lease on the last apartment I was living in, so I've been paying that off for the past 6-7 months and now it's finally paid off! I can't even tell you the relief of having that debt off my shoulders.
4. Ollie is still happy and healthy. She's a crazy little cat that definitely can have an attitude but she's the most important thing to me and I can't believe we've moved to so many different places and been through so much together.
5. I've been trying to make more time for my friends, which sounds like an easy task but when you're as introverted as me it can definitely be difficult at times.
6. I saw the movie Hereditary and I really loved it. It's one of those movies that is super eerie and you have to really pick up on all the hints in the dialogue and story to understand whats happening. If you like psychological horror, I would definitely recommend checking it out.
7. I started working 4 days a week instead of 5 at my job. At first I was a little hesitant because obviously the money is nice working a full 40 hours a week, but having 3 days off has been really nice and has given my time to relax a little more and focus on myself and things I want to do. This is the first time in 2 years that I've had the ability to be off for 3 days a week and not worry about money.
8. I really want to make a point to start traveling more, whether it's out of state or in state. I've lived in Arizona for almost 3 years and there is still so much I haven't seen. I've never even been to the Grand Canyon!
9. I started occasionally streaming video games on Twitch. I mostly stream horror games so if that's something you're into you can check it out here.
10. I'm really going to make it a goal to post more on here, as well as Instagram. Social Media and content creation was something I used to enjoy so much and have a lot of fun with and then once I moved I completely abandoned it. I will *try* to post on here at least once a week to start out.
Thank you all for reading and continuing to follow this blog. I hope to talk to you all soon!
Here | 2 Years Later
It's been awhile. Too long honestly. The past two years of my life have been the craziest, hardest, most rewarding time in my life. I've learned a lot, gained a lot, and lost a lot. I have a list of excuses I could give for the reason I completely went MIA on basically all of my social media accounts but the easiest excuse I can give you is that I just had too much going on. I've moved four times in the past two years, which is more than I've moved in my entire life. I've lived in a guest room, a couch, on my own. It's been insane. The only constant in my life has been my job and my friends, which thank god for them because if I hadn't had them I probably wouldn't be where I am currently.
If you missed my post awhile ago, I don't blame you, but I moved to Arizona, by myself, in December 2015. I had lived in Ohio previously and moving across the country to a city by yourself with the majority of your family living thousands of miles away isn't easy. It's super scary and exciting and it makes you grow up a lot faster than you can expect.
Being present on social media was once such a fun and almost important part of my life for so long and then just dropping it to focus on my "real" life was strange. But honestly I hardly even thought about keeping up with Instagram or blogging. It's not that I didn't want to, I really wanted to. I would plan posts and photos to post but I would just never follow through. I never had the motivation and things were so cloudy at the time I didn't know how to make posts without sounding down and stressed out constantly.
Recently I moved, again, but to a place that is much more stable. I'm living alone now for the second time and I'm much more comfortable and things have been going so smoothly so far in this new year. I don't want to get my hopes up but it's like I can finally relax and breathe. I guess with all of this relaxing and thinking I got motivation to start up blogging again. I've really missed it, it was something that was a great creative outlet for me and connected me with a lot of people and friends from around the world. I'm not going to make any promises yet, or set up a post schedule because I feel like I'm basically starting all over. I'm not completely the same person I was two years ago and it's going to take some time to figure out what I want this to be. I still plan on posting similar things I posted before, but who knows.
So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm here. I'm still here and I hope that you all are too.

Florapy Beauty | Review
Florapy Beauty was kind enough to send me two of their sheet masks awhile back. I like most face masks but sheet masks are always a hit or miss for me. I feel like they never stay on my face and are always too messy. But regardless, I was still eager to test these out.
They allowed me to choose, but I really liked all of their options, so I asked the brand to choose their personal favorites or their most popular masks. I was super excited to try the Jasmine and Peppermint, I love anything minty.
(Clear Complexion Mask - $8)
The first mask I tried was the Dandelion Lemongrass and it was really nice! The scent was light and when you placed it on your skin it didn't move around or fall off like the average sheet mask I've tried in the past.
I left it on for about 15 minutes and then rinsed it off with warm water. It was nice but I didn't feel like it did anything remarkable for my skin, however it did smell nice and was a nice way to relax.
(Detox Mask - $8)
The Peppermint Mask, however I really enjoyed. The smell was wonderful (I adore jasmine and peppermint!) and I felt like it really made my skin feel very clean.
Overall, I would recommend this brand if you're looking for some new sheet masks to try. They have a variety of scents and masks to treat every type of skin. Every mask is $8, which might seem steep for something that is a single use. But if you're looking for the perfect thing to add to your girls night or even if you just want to take a night to treat yourself and relax, these are definitely worth checking out.
I'm really interested in trying the Deep Hydration and Sweet Dreams sheet masks next.
Leave in the comments below what ones you'd like to try!

My First Trip to Disneyland!
I visited Disneyland for the first time this past New Years. I was so incredibly excited. My whole life I had always wanted to go but never had the chance until now. I was not disappointed.
We spent two full days there and every day was an adventure. I was constantly seeing new and very detailed things and having so much fun! At the end of every night, my feet would hurt so bad! We would end up walking around 18 miles in ONE day! No wonder I was so sore.
There were SO many people....so many. Ride times were so long and we had to push through people constantly. I guess that's what you get for visiting on New Years but man, it was packed. I'd really like to visit during a time of year that typically isn't as busy, that would be nice!
This is the one ride a refused to ride. I mean, it looks amazing but I am not too keen on rides that suddenly drop you. No thanks.
Mr. Toad's ride was the first one we went on! It was a nice slow ride, I was really shocked to see how detailed everything is!
The rides were a lot of fun. My favorite rides were California Screamin’, Splash Mountain, and Thunder Mountain. I was terrified to ride California Screamin’ but I am SO happy I did.
I was able to see Fantasia which was an amazing and lucky experience considering the are taking it away for a year or two. I didn't really think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did. It is SO incredibly impressive.

We went to a show that was the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Which is basically a little concert with performers dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland, people drink, dance and sing. It was pretty cool!
The infamous Mickey Mouse ferris wheel!

Goodbye Disney! Thank you for a wonderful New Years and a magical first visit. See you soon!

Where I've Been + I Moved to Arizona!
A lot has happened in the time I've been gone. I moved across the country, I went to California and Disneyland for my first time, I got my first job, etc. I will have some very delayed posts about my trip to Cali and Disney coming up as soon as I can.
I feel like I owe some sort of explanation on why I've been gone. Sure, I've been busy but the main reason I haven't posted anything is because I left my desktop computer in Ohio. It's not the easiest to blog on an iPad mini. I'm currently saving up and will have my own computer soon, so look forward to more blog posts!
I really want to get back into blogging regularly. I miss hearing all your feedback and sharing my experiences and thoughts with you! Thank you all who have stuck around while I disappeared. I really appreciate it!
As far as my move went, it was as smooth as can be! I ended up flying me and my cat to Arizona in December and it went so well! We are both healthy and happy to be here. I haven't experienced my first Arizona summer, so maybe I'll change my mind in a few months....(haha).
I can go more in-depth on my move across the country in a later post. I just wanted to let you all know I'm still around and I appreciate you!
Follow me on Instagram to see what I'm up to - @delicateteethh
I'll be back soon, I promise I won't leave for another 3 months! Hope you all are doing well and have a wonderful weekend!

Maple Holistics | Review
Maple Holistics is a brand committed to using natural and healthy ingredients to improve your hair, skin, and hygiene. I'm always looking for new hair products and face products to try, so the moment they reached out to me, I said of course! I browsed through their website and found their limited edition, winter blend shampoo and conditioner, and the Dead Sea face mask were the products I were most eager to try.
Spread this mask all over your face or in your problem areas. Leave it on for about 15 minutes or until it's dry. I've never used the Glamglow Supermud mask but they way this Dead Sea mask dries reminded me of it. It dries as a light green but any blemishes or areas on your face that are oiler than others, dries dark green.
This mask isn't very harsh or drying so you could use it more than once a week if you wished! It is pretty messy though while washing it off, so keep that in mind! I'd recommend applying it before you shower and washing it off in the shower!
The winter blend shampoo and conditioner smell very minty, which I love. It works well but it can be a bit drying if you use it daily. The smell lingers for quite awhile in my hair so if you're a fan of long lasting minty scents, then this would be a great shampoo and conditioner for you!
I have definitely become a fan of Maple Holistics after trying these products! I love that they're natural, work well, and smell great! They have a good variety of products, so check them out at www.mapleholistics.com !
Autumn in Ohio
Hi everyone! I'm back with some photos I snapped of fall this year around my hometown. Unfortunately I always forget how fleeting fall is. It happens so suddenly and leaves so soon (pun...intended?), anyway I know everyone claims that autumn is their favorite time of the year, but there's a reason for that! Can I live in a place where it's fall all year around? Maybe?
The day I took this was so incredibly perfect! There is a nature trail directly behind my house that I walk on quite frequently. I typically go on walks right as the sun is coming up or going down, (I prefer to be alone during walks and the trail is usually pretty empty at these times) but on this day, I left in the middle of the day and it was the perfect fall afternoon! I wish I could have days like that every day.
I handed out candy on Halloween for the first time, it wasn't too exciting but it was still a fun way to spend Halloween evening and I liked seeing all the kids costumes. I really wanted to plan an elaborate costume this year but it always sneaks up on me and I have to do something last minute.
I spent the rest of my Halloween night watching horror movies and baking cookies, but I guess that's kind of an average night for me any time of the year!
I hope you all have had a lovely past month and a great Halloween! Let me know in the comments if you dressed up or what your dream costume would be!
