Autumn in Ohio

Hi everyone! I'm back with some photos I snapped of fall this year around my hometown. Unfortunately I always forget how fleeting fall is. It happens so suddenly and leaves so soon (pun...intended?), anyway I know everyone claims that autumn is their favorite time of the year, but there's a reason for that! Can I live in a place where it's fall all year around? Maybe?

The day I took this was so incredibly perfect! There is a nature trail directly behind my house that I walk on quite frequently. I typically go on walks right as the sun is coming up or going down, (I prefer to be alone during walks and the trail is usually pretty empty at these times) but on this day, I left in the middle of the day and it was the perfect fall afternoon! I wish I could have days like that every day.

I handed out candy on Halloween for the first time, it wasn't too exciting but it was still a fun way to spend Halloween evening and I liked seeing all the kids costumes. I really wanted to plan an elaborate costume this year but it always sneaks up on me and I have to do something last minute.

I spent the rest of my Halloween night watching horror movies and baking cookies, but I guess that's kind of an average night for me any time of the year!

I hope you all have had a lovely past month and a great Halloween! Let me know in the comments if you dressed up or what your dream costume would be!

East View Cemetery

This week I took a spontaneous trip to two cemeteries, this was the first one I visited! East View Cemetery is actually only about 2 miles away from my house but I had never really came here to explore! I really couldn't find too much information about this place. I know it is one of the newer cemeteries around this part of Ohio. It's actually right across from another, older cemetery which I will be talking about next week!

I really loved the little details and statues people would bring by the graves. It really shows how much people care. I always get a fuzzy feeling whenever I'm in a cemetery and see fresh flowers.

This cemetery wasn't creepy at all, it was actually so peaceful and pretty. I didn't get as many photos as I would have hoped but I always seem to have trouble finding things I'm extremely interested in at "newer" cemeteries. However, this was a gorgeous place and I was very happy that I finally took the time to visit.
