Lately...

So many things have happened since I stopped updating this blog. I seriously wish I could catch you all up on everything but that would honestly take forever, I wouldn't even know where to start. So I guess I'll just give you a little rundown on some things that have happened in the past few months.

1. Summer has been rough. I seem to always forget how hot and miserable Arizona summers can be, I'm so happy that we are reaching the end and hopefully it'll start cooling down very soon!

2. I spent a weekend in Disneyland at the end of July and I'll be posting all about it in my next blog post.

3. I broke my lease on the last apartment I was living in, so I've been paying that off for the past 6-7 months and now it's finally paid off! I can't even tell you the relief of having that debt off my shoulders.

4. Ollie is still happy and healthy. She's a crazy little cat that definitely can have an attitude but she's the most important thing to me and I can't believe we've moved to so many different places and been through so much together.

5. I've been trying to make more time for my friends, which sounds like an easy task but when you're as introverted as me it can definitely be difficult at times.

6. I saw the movie Hereditary and I really loved it. It's one of those movies that is super eerie and you have to really pick up on all the hints in the dialogue and story to understand whats happening. If you like psychological horror, I would definitely recommend checking it out.

7. I started working 4 days a week instead of 5 at my job. At first I was a little hesitant because obviously the money is nice working a full 40 hours a week, but having 3 days off has been really nice and has given my time to relax a little more and focus on myself and things I want to do. This is the first time in 2 years that I've had the ability to be off for 3 days a week and not worry about money.

8. I really want to make a point to start traveling more, whether it's out of state or in state. I've lived in Arizona for almost 3 years and there is still so much I haven't seen. I've never even been to the Grand Canyon!

9. I started occasionally streaming video games on Twitch. I mostly stream horror games so if that's something you're into you can check it out here.

10. I'm really going to make it a goal to post more on here, as well as Instagram. Social Media and content creation was something I used to enjoy so much and have a lot of fun with and then once I moved I completely abandoned it. I will *try* to post on here at least once a week to start out.

Thank you all for reading and continuing to follow this blog. I hope to talk to you all soon!

Centerburg Cemetery

Last week I posted about a cemetery I visited known as Eastview Cemetery. This cemetery is directly across the street! This one is much older and was a lot more interesting for me personally to explore.

This headstone with the woman walking down steps was my favorite in the whole cemetery. It was so beautiful and eerie all at the same time. You don't see as many new headstones like this anymore, at least where I'm from. So it's nice to see something so old still look this lovely.

These headstones were very odd to me. They look like tiny little seats that were carved out of wood. I had never seen stones like this before and they were very interesting!

This cemetery wasn't very big, but it was definitely still fun and interesting to explore. I actually think I might have spent about an hour and a half just walking around and reading the inscriptions and dates on the headstones. There were many detailed headstones that you can tell took a lot of work. I also love that even though this place is extremely old and no longer really used, it still is kept neat and clean.

I can't believe I have lived so close to this cemetery my whole life but have never taken the time to explore and capture it until now. But I'm really happy I did! I wish I could have found more history on it but there wasn't hardly anything I could find.

Hour by Hour | September 29, 2014

I see a few bloggers I follow doing similar posts like this and I've always wanted to try it for myself. I really like these types of posts so I hope you enjoy! Also, sorry about the lighting in some of my photos, with it getting dark so early now it's very hard to get good lighting past the afternoon!

| 7am |
Awake early to go on a little solo adventure.

| 8am |
I have arrived!

| 9am |
Decided to relax for a bit and read after exploring.

| 10am |
Heading home after a successful adventure!

| 11am |
Came home to find this little cutie sunbathing.

| 12pm |
Working on a future blog post! (Probably won't be up for awhile)

| 1pm |
Attempting to take care of my succulent & cacti. I'm not very experienced with plants but I am trying to get better! This planting arrangement for these two is only temporary.

| 2pm |
Playing with some cheap SFX makeup. This is something that I've been doing a lot lately and I've discovered that I really enjoy it! Maybe I'll do some posts about it later on.

| 3pm |
Ollie thinks it's time to take a cat nap and I think I agree! She fell asleep on a cat blanket as well, how appropriate.

| 4pm |
Having an early dinner! Spinach & artichoke pizza, my favorite!

| 5pm |
Trying to decide what color to paint my nails

| 6pm |
Watching Kiki's Delivery Service and relaxing. This is one of my favorites (along with every other Studio Ghibli movie!)

And that's basically where my day ended. After that I spent most of the night doing things online and reading! Today wasn't very exciting but this Hour by Hour post was just an experiment. I think I'll start doing these once in awhile! Hope you guys like this little peek into my every day life.

Meet Ollie!

I just recently realized that, I have never introduced my cat onto this page. I actually don't think any of you have ever even seen her! I thought this would be a fun little post to do and would help you all get to know the little furry creature that brings me so much happiness!

Throughout my whole life I have lived in a house with dogs. We never owned any cats and I was never really exposed to many cats either. I always thought they were cute but I considered myself a dog person. But around 8th grade I started to really want a cat, but every time I mentioned to my dad, he would say no. After lots of pleading and the "I promise I'll take care of it, it's MY responsibility" talks he caved in.

And in my freshman year of high school, one of my mother's coworkers at the time had a cat that had a bunch of kittens!

When she was about 7 weeks old I went to my mother's house to pick her up and she was so tiny and was sleeping on my moms shoulder. The moment I held her I fell in love. She slept on my lap the whole way home and I remember I kept lifting the blanket she was laying under because I couldn't get enough of how adorable she was.

As playful as ever on her first night home with me!

Just a light gray fuzzball

She's been right by my side since the day I brought her home. She always follows me around the house and is always falling asleep on me.

Her favorite activity EVER (besides chasing bugs and eating snacks) is laying/sitting in boxes. Forget toys, just bring home a nice, cat sized box and she'll be occupied all week.

Ollie is now 3 years old and she is the little love of my life and has transformed me into a complete cat lady! I can't believe it's taken me so long to post something about her, considering she is a big part of my life! I hope you all enjoyed getting to know a little bit about her! I'm sure she will be appearing in future posts as well.

Do you guys have any pets? What are they? If not, let me know what your dream pet would be!

Walking on Air // 8/13/14

On August 13th I went to a much anticipated, Katy Perry concert in Columbus! I have had the biggest crush on her for years so I was so excited to finally see her live.

We ended up getting to the venue 3 hours early so we had some time to kill.

We went across the street to a nice restaurant called Boston's Gourmet Pizza. My friend and I ordered this pizza to share, spinach, artichoke, sun-dried tomatoes, and parmesan cheese. It was delicious!

SHOWTIME, this was the opening performer, Kacey Musgraves. She was a country artist, which I'm not really into but she was very good and I actually really enjoyed some of her songs!

After she performed, it was time for Katy!! (I wish I could have gotten more pictures of more songs, but lets face it. I was waaay too excited to be constantly holding my phone and snapping pictures, sorry!)

This song was "Walking on Air", she floated into the air attached to that cute little cloud.

These were taken during "Birthday." This song was my favorite that she performed because it was so colorful and fun. She floated around the audience sitting on a seat tied with those balloons and she got really close to where we were sitting so that was very exciting! At the end cannons shot out confetti all over the audience.

This is a panorama of the audience during one of her slower songs, "By the Grace of God". Everyone had their phones out and were waving them in the air so I thought it would make a cool shot.

I wish I would have got more photos but I was just having way too much fun to have my phone out the whole time. There was so many more costumes and themes she had throughout the concert that were amazing and fun. This was honestly one of the best experiences I've had and I would totally do it over again. I can't wait for her to go on tour again because I will DEFINITELY be attending!

What I've Been Up To // P!ATD Concert, New Phone, & Unplanned Hiatus?

On July 30th I got the opportunity to attend a Panic! at the Disco concert in Cleveland and I jumped at the chance! P!ATD has always been one of my all time favorite bands so the thought of seeing them live was so exciting! I was especially excited because their most recent album "Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die" is my favorite ones they have produced so far, (also Brendon Urie...YUM).

Unfortunately, at the time I was still carrying around my cracked iPhone 4, so taking pictures wasn't an option. However, this photo that I found on P!ATD's instagram is from that night! They really put on a wonderful show and I had a blast singing along and dancing to all of their songs. I will definitely be returning to one of their concerts in the future!

I finally got a new iPhone 5s, which was much needed considering the condition of my iPhone 4 that I have had for over 2 years. I'm super excited to have this so now if I see anything while I'm out and about I can snap a quick photo of it, instead of having to carry around my big Canon camera all the time, so look out for more "Follow Me Around" posts!

Most Importantly...
I want to apologize for the sudden hiatus I seemed to have taken from blogging. It wasn't planned and I didn't really want to take one either. For some reason, lately, my motivation for blogging has seemed nearly nonexistent. I kept logging on and trying to write and I even took some pictures but they all just didn't seem to turn out to my liking. I want to make the best content I can and it's frustrating and difficult when you have so many ideas but you can't seem to portray it onto a blog as you can in your head.

However, I am going to try to get into a better routine so I can start posting more regularly again. I miss making posts and hearing your guys feedback! I just wanted to let you all know that, I didn't forget and I haven't been ignoring this. I have lots of ideas and I'm definitely feeling more determined.

Thank you all for hanging in there and supporting me! I'm excited to start interacting with you all again.
