Meet Ollie!

I just recently realized that, I have never introduced my cat onto this page. I actually don't think any of you have ever even seen her! I thought this would be a fun little post to do and would help you all get to know the little furry creature that brings me so much happiness!

Throughout my whole life I have lived in a house with dogs. We never owned any cats and I was never really exposed to many cats either. I always thought they were cute but I considered myself a dog person. But around 8th grade I started to really want a cat, but every time I mentioned to my dad, he would say no. After lots of pleading and the "I promise I'll take care of it, it's MY responsibility" talks he caved in.

And in my freshman year of high school, one of my mother's coworkers at the time had a cat that had a bunch of kittens!

When she was about 7 weeks old I went to my mother's house to pick her up and she was so tiny and was sleeping on my moms shoulder. The moment I held her I fell in love. She slept on my lap the whole way home and I remember I kept lifting the blanket she was laying under because I couldn't get enough of how adorable she was.

As playful as ever on her first night home with me!

Just a light gray fuzzball

She's been right by my side since the day I brought her home. She always follows me around the house and is always falling asleep on me.

Her favorite activity EVER (besides chasing bugs and eating snacks) is laying/sitting in boxes. Forget toys, just bring home a nice, cat sized box and she'll be occupied all week.

Ollie is now 3 years old and she is the little love of my life and has transformed me into a complete cat lady! I can't believe it's taken me so long to post something about her, considering she is a big part of my life! I hope you all enjoyed getting to know a little bit about her! I'm sure she will be appearing in future posts as well.

Do you guys have any pets? What are they? If not, let me know what your dream pet would be!

My dream pet would be a baby kitten that never grows up... lol one that stays tiny... I think that would be awesome!

  9. Awwww, I have a soft spot for kitties! Unfortunately, right now I can't have one. I have two dogs - a mutt and an American Pitbull Terrier. My pitbull is terrified of cats (yes.... I know) so right now I am content with my dog-babies. Your little fluffball is adorable though!

  11. She is the cutest thing! I have a six year old miniature schnauzer named Truvy. I had a schnauzer mix when I was growing up, and she was the best dog. I don't think I can ever be without a schnauzer! Loved meeting your sweet Ollie!

  12. Ollie is beautiful! I'm a cat lover, too. One of my cats, Quincy, recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge, so I now have two indoor cats. I also take care of 11 ferals, which I trapped and brought in for spay and neutering plus their vaccinations. They are all precious!
