8 Planners to Help You Organize for the New Year

We all know this past year has been a complete whirlwind and if you're anything like me, the idea of having a planner this year sort of seemed like a joke. I did have one at the beginning of the year and had planned to fill it up with all the things I would be busy with, yet it remained mostly empty from being stuck in the house. However, lets hope this next year is better for all of us, lets hope we are able to plan things again that don't include working from home.

I think this one might be my favorite, I love the color scheme and the simple yet adorable cover art. This is definitely the one I'm most likely going to purchase for myself.

This one is a bit brighter than I would usually go for but I still think it's super cute!

To-Do Planner - $22.95

This one is beautiful, look at that green!

This one is fun and rather simple. I think if you want to add a pop of color to your workspace this would be a cool way to do so, if this isn't your cup of tea they have other colors as well!

Autumn in Ohio

Hi everyone! I'm back with some photos I snapped of fall this year around my hometown. Unfortunately I always forget how fleeting fall is. It happens so suddenly and leaves so soon (pun...intended?), anyway I know everyone claims that autumn is their favorite time of the year, but there's a reason for that! Can I live in a place where it's fall all year around? Maybe?

The day I took this was so incredibly perfect! There is a nature trail directly behind my house that I walk on quite frequently. I typically go on walks right as the sun is coming up or going down, (I prefer to be alone during walks and the trail is usually pretty empty at these times) but on this day, I left in the middle of the day and it was the perfect fall afternoon! I wish I could have days like that every day.

I handed out candy on Halloween for the first time, it wasn't too exciting but it was still a fun way to spend Halloween evening and I liked seeing all the kids costumes. I really wanted to plan an elaborate costume this year but it always sneaks up on me and I have to do something last minute.

I spent the rest of my Halloween night watching horror movies and baking cookies, but I guess that's kind of an average night for me any time of the year!

I hope you all have had a lovely past month and a great Halloween! Let me know in the comments if you dressed up or what your dream costume would be!

Urthbox Unboxing

I'm always looking for new subscription boxes to get into, so when I heard about Urthbox I knew I needed to try it out! I really liked that you can choose what size box you receive and that they pack it full with snacks! Literally. When I got my box in the mail I couldn't close it after I opened it for the first time. It was stuffed.

I also loved that things were full sized, it's always nice to get full size products/snacks over samples.

I actually wasn't a huge fan of the above snacks unfortunately. I'm not a fan of coconut or blueberry, so that knocked out half of this small pile. The Chia Squeeze tasted good but had a strangest texture that was hard for me to enjoy! Although it was kind of fun trying it out.

It's no surprise to me that these were my favorite snacks in the box. I always prefer salty and savory over things that are sweet, so these were right up my ally! The Inka Corn and Purple Heirloom potato chips were my favorite. I haven't tried the Bops Sour Cream & Onion, but I'm sure they taste just like regular potato chips, so I think I'll be a fan.

Overall, I would definitely give them a try again. Just because I didn't like some of the snacks doesn't mean I'd write it off completely.

Their boxes come in a variety of sizes and go from $12.99 to $39.99. If you want to try it for yourself you can get $5 off your first box with the code "CRUNCHWEEK". I'd recommend using that if you're unsure and what to save a little money.

Check out Urthbox.com if you want your own or want more information!

I hope you all are doing well and having a great Friday!

Graze Box #003

This Graze Box originally had 8 snacks but I usually share these boxes with my mom so she took the three she wanted. I was left with some pretty good ones though!

Brooklyn Bites - poppyseed pretzels,  cheese cashews, & roasted pumpkin seeds
Peachy Orchard - peach drops, rhubarb, & pear
Grilled Cheese - sweet mustard breadsticks, cheddar bruschetta, & smoked cashews
Vanilla Walnut Fudge - walnuts, vanilla pumpkin seeds, fudge, and raisins

The Peachy Orchard and the Vanilla Walnut Fudge are my favorites! I LOVE peach and I wish I could get a whole bag of just peach drops.

The popcorn unfortunately wasn't anything to write home about. It was just average popcorn that had a tiny bit of salt. It really didn't have much flavor to it. Then again, I'm not a huge fan to begin with, the only time I do eat popcorn is if I get it when I go to the movies. (And we all know that the popcorn at movie theaters is full of butter and salt, but hey isn't that what makes it so good?) Anyway, if you love popcorn and are looking for something a bit healthier than I would certainly recommend this! It's a single serving so it'd be perfect if you're watching a movie by yourself sometime.

Overall, I was pretty pleased with this box. I enjoyed pretty much everything inside, which is always a nice surprise.

Do you guys get Graze Boxes? Have you tried any of these snacks?

My New Glasses | Firmoo Review

Wearing glasses is something I've had to deal with for the past 4-5 years. When I first started wearing glasses I was in 9th grade and I really only wore them when I was at home or was reading something. But 4 years later, my glasses were scratched, scuffed and falling apart. I finally went to the optometrist to get a new prescription so I could order a new pair, but I was frustrated because every pair I had found was expensive!

I decided that instead of picking the first pair that I like, I'd do some research to find some cheap, good quality glasses. Luckily, my searching landing me on Firmoo.com. I looked through the site and saw some pairs that I really enjoyed, and even better, they were all under $40!

I ended up finding the pair I wanted to order and I chose these. Ordering is incredibly easy and they even let you enter your prescription, so if you're planning to check out this site make sure you ask your optometrist for a copy.

When they arrived in the mail I was surprised to see that they also sent me a lovely case, cleaning cloth, and a little kit to fix my glasses if they become loose.

I was a bit worried that the glasses might sit funny on my face considering I didn't try them on before ordering, but luckily, they fit perfectly! And better yet, I could see SO incredibly clearly! It really made me realize what a mess my old pair was.

I would highly recommend Firmoo.com if you're in need of a new, cheap pair of glasses. That being said, they aren't the highest quality and they are plastic, but if you take good care of them they should last your for a long while!

Do you wear glasses? Or do you prefer contacts? Do you have any recommendations for other sites with cheap glasses?

SWIG Luxury Flask Overview

SWIG recently got a hold of me to review this Luxury Flask. I checked out their website, as I do all companies who contact me, and discovered that their flasks seemed to be extremely high quality and very simple, but aesthetically pleasing. I was instantly interested.

I think flasks are really neat for some reason, plus I find that they're wonderful gifts for the "of age" people in your life!

SWIG is the first Hip Flask brand of the UK. It started as an idea and a small operation in 2013 and has grown tremendously over time! You can read the full story here!

On their site it mentions the inspiration to create SWIG Flasks came from realizing how difficult it can be to buy a man a gift, which I can completely agree with, plus the fact that most flasks are comedic or vintage. Have you ever been in a store at the mall and seen them? Yeah, they aren't too sleek most of the time.

Despite it being overseas, I received my flask rather quickly! The flask was inside this box that is tied together by a bow. I love the packaging of this and would love to get more in the future for gifts, you wouldn't even have to wrap it! The quality is outstanding, it's very solid and has a good weight but isn't heavy. I also really love that the bottom is flattened so that it can stand up on its own without toppling over.

I really think that next time I'm stumped on buying a gift for a friend, I'll check out SWIG if I think it'll suit them!

Graze Box #002

I'm back with another Graze Box post! Of course, Graze Box is a snack subscription box that sends you healthy and tasty snacks right in your mailbox. You can even customize your tastes, so if they send you something you're not too fond of, you can go online and mark it off so they won't send it to you again!

Natural Vanilla Seeds - vanilla pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
Beach Bum - pineapple, coconut flakes, and chewy banana coins.
Chili & Honey Almonds - roasted almonds seasoned with chili and honey.
Deconstructed Carrot Cake - carrot chews, cinnamon raisins, ginger fudge & walnuts

Japanese Miso - soup with wakame seaweed & a side of edamame beans.
Banana Caramel Dippers - banana shortbread with caramel sauce.
Vitamin E Defense - hazelnut, peanut, cranberry, & raisin.
Herby Bread Basket - basil baguettes, garlic crostini, and oregano rice crackers.

My favorite snacks were the Chili & Honey Almonds, Herby Bread Basket, Banana Caramel Dippers, and the Deconstructed Carrot Cake. They were all super tasty and it was the perfect mix of sweet and salty.

The Japanese Miso was the first snack I've gotten that you have to prepare...of course I don't know if I'd call it preparing anything if you're just pouring hot water into a mug, but still. I wanted it to be more filling so I made some ramen to mix in with the miso broth.

Unfortunately, I really disliked the miso soup. It was super salty and just had a very odd taste. I've never had miso in a restaurant so I'm willing to give it a try again, but the miso from Graze box was just not a winner.

Go to Graze.com to get your own!
(PS. This post isn't sponsored, I just really like snacks)

Random Mini Collective Haul

I've recently received and purchased some things that I thought would be fun to haul. They are all pretty random but regardless, I'm excited to talk about all of these. Unfortunately this post should have been up awhile ago, (if you notice that Sugar Pop Palette in the corner there you'll remember I did a whole post on it awhile ago that you can find here.) However, I figured I should still upload it and share it with you all!

Steven Universe #1 & #2

Steven Universe Comics #3 & #4

Steven Universe Comics #5, #7, & #8

When I purchased all of these from Kaboom, issue #6 was unfortunately out of stock. However, I didn't mind too much.  Of course, I had to get my hands on these because Steven Universe is one of my favorite series ever! I will be doing a post about Steven Universe in the future so keep your eyes peeled for that!

The two Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams and the Ardell lashes were completely impulse buys. I was walking around Ulta and just grabbed them. Of course, I certainly don't regret it! The lip creams are beautiful and have wonderful pigmentation and the Ardell lashes are always one of my favorites!

The perfect palette to add a pop of color to your summer looks! Check out the in depth post I did about this palette here!

These are brushes that I came across while browsing Ebay one day and they immediately caught my eye because this 4 brush set was priced at $1.88 with FREE shipping! I'm not really super keen on shopping on Ebay but after purchasing these, I will definitely check them out more often. I was really surprised at how nice the quality of these were. They are so soft and blend my shadow beautifully and I have incorporated them into my daily makeup routine! I actually like these so much I've been thinking about buying a second set just to have them around.

I desperately needed some new sunglasses. I really don't own any and I wanted to get into the habit of wearing them more often to protect my eyes from the sun! I really wanted some 'aviator" like shades and was so excited when I scored this awesome limited edition set from ZeroUV!

I'm not a huge fan of the yellow/orange tinted shades but I am in love with the blue and green tinted ones! They are a bit big, but I don't mind. I would definitely recommend checking out ZeroUV if you want cheap but amazing looking sunglasses. They have so many styles and they are all reasonably priced.

And lastly, I got this adorable mini cupcake maker! How cute is that? This was actually a gift from my mother because I would always point it out whenever I saw one! I'm definitely going to have to pick up the lavender cake pop maker soon! I didn't want to talk about this in depth because I'm going to do a review and a demo of this later on, so look out for that!

I hope you all enjoyed this little haul. I am debating on whether or not I will post a birthday haul, I didn't get anything beauty related but if you guys still want to see it I might end up posting one! I hope you all are wonderful and of course, talk to me down in the comments! I love talking to you all!

One Year as a Blogger

Hello everyone! March 31st marks a pretty big accomplishment on Delicate Teeth. One year ago today I started this blog! I actually remember it perfectly, it wasn't planned whatsoever. I stumbled across a blog I really liked and I thought "Wow, I really wish I could do something like that..." and then it occured to me, that I totally can! I created a blogspot and wrote my very first post, my Introduction. Just a quick hello, who I am, and what I'm here for type of thing. I never really expected myself to keep up with it honestly, let alone create another blog a year later so now I'm writer for two!

Blogging has helped my creativity blossom into something that I'm proud of. I've learned so much about technology, beauty, fashion, and so many other things throughout this year thanks to starting Delicate Teeth.

I have gotten to work with so many amazing companies, hold some great giveaways, and discover so many beautiful people.

And of course, I want to thank all of my readers! You all are so kind to me and give me so much support. I really want to connect with you all more this coming year and hold more giveaways, collab, and befriend you!

Blogging has become such a great hobby for me and I feel so grateful to have found something that I truly enjoy putting my time into.

I hope you all look forward to another year of blogging as much as I do!

What I got for Christmas 2014

Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. Even now, I still get those happy little butterflies on Christmas morning. I love going shopping, wrapping gifts, making good food, decorating the tree and everything else that comes along with Christmas! I am very lucky to be surrounded by so many wonderful family members and friends who want to give me such nice gifts and I thought I would share with everyone what was under my tree this year! I really love hearing what other people got, so I thought this would be a fun post.

I'm obviously not going to show every little thing, because that would take forever. But I will share the main things I received this year.

The bracelet was a completely unexpected gift from one of my best friends when he visited on Christmas day! The watch is from my grandmother because I had mentioned before that I really wanted a gold watch.

If you've been following me for awhile you've probably picked up that I'm a bit in love with Katy Perry. So of course, when my mom saw this she totally had to pick it up. Anything with Katy on it is definitely a win in my book!

I am a sucker for gift sets. Little things like this make me so excited! It's silly, but I always really look forward to using everything in these types of sets!

Hell House was something my mom picked up on a whim for me and I'm so happy she did! I love everything creepy and haunted so of course I love flipping through this book. I also had been wanting Black Hole for awhile, I can't wait to read it!

I think I'm most excited about these two books I received. I absolutely love Grace Helbig and Amy Poehler. They are both such funny, smart and incredible ladies and I cannot wait to get around to reading them!

Everyone knows how much I love The Last of Us so of course it was only natural for them to pick this up for me for Christmas. It's such an interesting book to look through! The art is incredible and I really want to start collecting art books for all of my favorite games.

I had been needing a new pair of boots for awhile, my current ones are completely falling apart. These were such a nice surprise and I was so relieved when I saw there was a zipper on the side! I love my Doc Martens but pulling them on and off constantly is so annoying. I have already tried these on and worn them for a few hours and they are so comfortable and fit perfectly! I also like the little heel they have.

I got some video games, as usual. These four were actually the ones I wanted the most and I was pretty shocked that I got all of them. The one I wanted most was obviously The Last of Us (who could have guessed). I've already beat it twice if that tells you anything!

I have been wanting to become a Playstation gamer for awhile now! So seeing this under the tree was very exciting! Earlier in December I ended up selling my Xbox 360 along with all of my games so I could make some money to get a PS3, so I was extremely thrilled to have one. It's also nice that it plays Blu-ray's and Netflix as well!

And last, but certainly not least, I got a new TV! I'm not the type of person who has to have a huge, new flat screen but oh man I REALLY needed a new one. My old TV was falling freezing and I couldn't plug anything into it. This new one is so lovely and it's great to play all of my new games on or just relax and watch some Netflix!

As always, Christmas was wonderful and I want to thank all of my family members and friends who thought of me. I hope your holiday was wonderful as well!

How was your Christmas? What was your favorite gift you received/gave?
